Found this Crown Jewel in a 62″ length.  First one I have seen in that length.  Had to have it.  These things may be my kryptonite.  Ha Ha….

The CJ pictured in this thread is not mine, it belongs to Beemann, there is a pic of mine in the Quiver Preference thread, and it is 58#@28″ 60″ AMO.

Just got it back from the boys at Black Widow.  They reduced the weight and refinished.  Looks fantastic.  It was 66@27 so had to get it reduced.  Going to build a new string and see how she shoots….

My favorite Widow. I’d love to find one 50# or lighter but have never even seen one. Do they exist?

50# or lighter, I don’t know, these bows came from a period when 60#+ was popular and common. I don’t think that I have ever seen a CJ in the 50# or less range. The one that I have was originally marked 62# and I had it reduced to 58# due to a cervical spine injury that resulted in a loss of strength. Roger Fulton at BW can tell you if they exist or not, your chances are better if you are right-handed. The people that own CJ’s generally keep them, so they rarely come up for sale.

Guys I also have this one.  Its tapped for a berger button ,  and has a custom high grip that is close to my grip.  Keeping it for when Im old and decayed.  ha

It is number 144  The lightest draw weight I have ever seen….
