When I was shooting a 50# PLV, I shot a total arrow weight of 635 grains. I shot the same arrow weight for hunting and 3D. On the 3D range, I didn’t have an issue with the weight unless the targets were further than 25 yards, and even then, the “drop” wasn’t too bad. I shoot the Senior class at most shoots now, and the max distance is 25yards (+/- a foot or two). I’m working up an arrow for my 42# PCH and the total arrow weight is coming out right at 12 grains per pound. You are right at 12.7 grains per pound. That will make for good penetration and a quiet bow. You should be just fine!
